Hi Nisekosan!

Many people speak English because it is the language of business. English is almost “mandatory”. So I chose the possible “future business language” looking at GDP per country.

You can see the top 3countries with bigger GDP are EEUU, China, and Japan. Germany is the 4th on the list and France is the 6th. Link: https://www.imf.org/external/datamapper/NGDPD@WEO/OEMDC/ADVEC/WEOWORLD

If you look at GDP per capita, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Ireland are the top 4. Germany is the 17th and France is 23rd. Link: https://www.imf.org/external/datamapper/NGDPDPC@WEO/OEMDC/ADVEC/WEOWORLD

Of course, I may be wrong, no one can predict the future, we can just guess. And you can have your own opinion :) Maybe french will be the future global language!
